New fish

Just got a red scooter blenny and a purple firefish yesterday, the firefish is still hiding out in a lot of the rock work so i have very few pictures. Took 100 pictures and the following were the best out of them. Let me know what you think.

Looks nice Mike. I really like the red scooters. My firefish wee reclusive at first too, but now they're almost always out. Give hime a few days to adjust and you should see him more.

thanks guys, i love photography and starting to fall in love with marine biology too so expect lots of pictures. I've gotta rig up some better moonlights (right now just a dinky white LED that came with my lights) and once i do i'll take some night shots.

and i know the red scooter blenny is just about everyones favorite but sadly he has taken refuge to the rock work. I rarely get to see him lately he knows how to hide. Also the shrimp is hiding still.

PS what camera/lens did you use for those pics?

all the pictures are taken on a konica minolta dimage Z2 its a 4mp camera. Wish i could afford a nice digital SLR with a macro lens but dont have anywhere near that kind of money
