okay so i just bought this

what can i mount the reflector in for a hood? can i just leave it on top of the glass i have on my tank now or do i need to mount it or hang it from somewhere? what are my options

It has to be mounted in a canopy.

I agree with Mike, you'll need to mount it to the inside of a canopy.  It's hard to see what all comes with it.  It does say that you may need additional mounting hardware which means to me that you WILL need additional mounting hardware!

yeah me and my cousin are going to mount it into a wood top tomorrow, i found the perfect wood for it in my basement ! will take pics when done
