We picked up the newest member of the family on Tuesday evening. A chocolate lab that Savannah insisted we name Hershey. As you can see she is over the moon excited and spent a half hour the other night showing him the fish haha.

Grats!
We picked up a lab mix in Feb.
It will eat EVERYTHING - food, dirt, bark, plastic, knives, fire, etc...
Get pet insurance asap, our first trip for a stomach exam and pump cost us $1000 within a week of bringing her home.

That's what we're afraid of. We do have insurance for the other dog and plan on adding him to the plan. Congrats on your lab too!

Thanks, only got her so I could dress her up as a Loki variant...


But seriously, if you've never had a Lab get insurance asap.
This is the first one we have and a friend that raises working dogs told us to think twice. She won't accept any in her home to train them due to the eating thing.
FEw days later, when saw her eat some kinetic sand and brought her to the vet, they took films and sent us up to the dog ER in Tinton Falls.
They found loads of sand, bark, a 3" piece of plastic, 2 tennis balls, a few rocks, and a doll leg. Thats with us watching her (or so we thought).
She's approaching a year now and is calming down a bit with it.

Your pup looks just like my Dallas. We thought she was a lab but come to find out through a DNA test that she’s actually mostly American Pitbull with no lab in her. Her markings are actually Doberman pincher. You’d never know she was that mix due to her sweet disposition.
