Depending on the coral you'll want to use pro corals cure, flat worm exit and some iodine in separate dips, prior to introducing. I'm not sure about zoas (not my area of knowledge).
 
I dip mine in Kent Lugols (follow directions on the box) and then depending on where I got them I'll also do a flatworm exit (following directions again).

But I have heard that the Pro Coral Cure is very very good. So I might buy that when I run out of Lugols.
 
thanks for the quick replies. I always want to ask. I usually use pcc but wanted to ask if you can mix iodide/ iodine with it or do it separately
 
i would do it separately...not sure if the different dips together might do...

personally i have never had a feather duster (not one like those from hawaii) and I am not sure - but if flatworms could hitch on a coral, it stands to reason they could do so on the tube of a duster too.
