Although this is not a LFS in New Jersey, i figured i would write a post about it anyways. I recently moved to Connecticut and took over my brothers 55 gallon reef. Since then, I have been down to Michael at NYaquatics(New Rochelle, NY)a few times now and bought a couple of fish. He is a very nice person and very knowledgeable about his fish, not to mention the prices are really good... He is able to have cheaper prices due to cutting out the middle man, and having no overhead costs that come with owning your own store.. Several of my fish came from there. He does have great prices, ships very professionally, and the fish seem to be very healthy.
Michael is great! 90% of my fish are from nyaquatic and with the exception of 2 very small clown gobies who've gone missing (might still be alive) everything has been excellent. Extremely healthy fish, unreal prices (even on more rare fish, my geometric pygmy hawk was more then double everywhere else), and great shipping.
