orange plate

I have seen this in many tanks and it seems to be hardy (as far as sps go) but as far as lighting, is there anyone that would frag me a tiny piece to try in my 15g under my compacts. Don't have anything to trade but I could surrender a couple bucks or something.

It is an LPS, they aren't all that easy and very difficult to frag (need a wet saw). How long has your tank been running? What are your current parameters and what corals do you have already?

I have 2 tanks a 95 that is 5 years strong and a 15 that is a baby at 3 months. The 15 is the one here in NJ and it is mostly shrooms and zoos but i do have 2 corals i don't know what are if i get my cam i will put pics to identify. The only parameters i am shore of is salinity at 1.0255 my test kit is upstate NY will be getting it today. The only lps i have ever tried was a hammer and i died 2 years ago when i went on vacation and the tank heat spiked at about 87 degrees. So i think i have the curage to try some more advanced tank life.

I have a green and an orange plate coral in the bottom of my 75 Reef. They are not the easiest to keep and do require stronger lighting than compacts. Mine are under 2 X 250 14K Phoenix and T5s. Also, I have seen many small frags succumb as its been my experience that smaller pieces are just less apt to survive. They also require target feeding with mysis to get them feeding regularly as mine now do.
