Ok guys and gals I just finished my overflow box cali style and I was wonder if you all could help me with the placement. So far Ive got inside the tank on the back wall ;D But how deep from the water level should it be. Also is my water level going to be to the top of the tank or an inch below or so. Yes Im a noob help me plz. Bobb

I always started with the box low,better to have the tank level low to start than high to flood.
I kept it low in the water for a few days and would slowly raise the water level till it went half way up the tank trim.

it the overflow box is built correctly, it should be adjustable to setup low or higher.
