Petco Brick ugh

I recently went to Brick Petco which use to be the go to for saltwater around here. I was not impressed on my last visit. They have declined and had almost no saltwater stock for fish and invertebrates. Couple clown fish and a purple tang the size of a quarter and that’s it. It’s sad since they use to have a nice selection. On the other hand Toms River which used to be ugh now has a larger section of fish and their stock was much better. I was able to pick up a decent cleaning crew since they had what I was looking for. They also are ordering me a one spot Foxface.

Freehold is trying to up their saltwater and is doing a decent job. They had a one-spot foxface a week and a half ago that had been there about a month and looked good, if you want to call and check if it’s still there.

The coral tank at Brick Pet co sprung a leak. They lost most of the coral except a few they moved to another tank. Rob is running it NIW and user to work at Tropaquariun back in the day. I do agree it has gone downhill unfortunately.

They do have some coral in the one tank, they are waiting for their coral tank to come in, but they want big money for their coral. Whatever fish they had which was not many were tiny.

Hahah Psalms Rivera. Gotta love auto correct.
Toms River Petco ordered one for me

Paramus Petco closed and became a BOOT BARN! Some items transferred to Hackensack Petco, but been the same dying corals for months now. No real influx.
Fish are always sick or dying. water levels are always at extremes with bubbles.

They just can't afford a full time person to manage it. It's a lot of work. They could make so much more money if they just hired and paid someone to do it

Yep, in Brick the other day and was disappointed.
Coral tank down and bone dry.
Corals (some seem just dumped - upside down, etc) now in the large display, many dead or dying.
No phyto or such anymore.
No inverts available.
Ben is gone.
Hoping they can salvage this, but its gone downhill fast.

Toms River seems to be much better now. Kidnthere seems to be interested in keeping the tanks nice and had a nice yellow tang in as well as some other decent fish
