The phosban that I bought in the GB - even after rinsing few times it continues the water remains red. Is this alright?

How much Phosban should I use for a 72g (with a total water volume of 200+ gallons). Can I fill up the Phosban reactor all the way? or just half will do?

How often should I change?

I cant remember off hand how many ML's I used. But I can tell you that for my system I only filled my reactor a 1/4 of the way.

As far as rinsing it, I've never used the ferric oxide from the club, I've only used the rowaphos and it usually rinsed clear after a few minutes. Make sure you only are using enough flow to have the top layer of the Phosban churning slightly.
