Is that mushroom attached to the snail's shell? That is too cool!

Nice setup, congrats!

i am 100% hooked now. and i guess you can say the preverbial double edge sword is that i have about 5 empty tanks ranging from 10 to 55 gal.  ;D

the better part is i just got my girlfriend into it, now she wants to set up our 55 while i set the rest of my nanos up, so i will be meticulously documenting the set up of ALL tanks and posting pictures here for all of us to enjoy.

the nano was rather easy to set up, very nice addtion to my living room. and is teaming with life to sit backand enjoy. i cant wait to set up the rest.  i owe some credit to my cousin sean, smarcisin on the boards, for his insparational 5gl nano that made me dive headfirst into the salt water hobby and not turn back.

yes he is and actually when he was fragged for me, well i should say picked up, we didnt know he was on a empty snail shell, i thought it was really neat and it makes placing him, unlike the other 4 i have, very easy.

since your tank is fairly new what are you feeding the LMB? it doesn't look like there is much for him to eat on the rocks....

there was actually a fair amount of brown algea on the 2 yellowish brownish rocks that i bought, the last 2 added, and he tends to pick at that alot. otherwise i target feed him the sheets of brown marine algea. ill tear a little piece off and hell pick at it. or when i feed the damsel, any food that gets stuck in the screen thingy for the powerhead, he picks it right off of that too. im trying to find a type of live algea i can put in the tank for him to eat, any ideas?

The Sailfin/Algae Blenny does best in well-established aquariums with large amounts of natural algae to feed on. The diet can be supplemented with vegetable matter, Spirulina, and herbivore preparations.

also the recommended minimum tank size for these guys is 30. you will probably have to have a constant source of food to keep this guy from starving. you could try blanched romaine lettuce. put the lettuce in the freezer and then thaw it out each day and use a rubberband to attach it to a rock.

the 10 is a temporary home, thats why i bought the smallest one i can find. im setting up a 55, 20l, 30 and possibly a 45 in the for-seeable future.
