Pictures From Our Bahamas Vacation

Debbie and I went to the Bahamas last week, here are some pictures. I have to say, they have an awesome aquarium (if you can call it that) set up. I believe it's the biggest Saltwater exhibit on earth.

Nice pics. Did you guys stay at Atlantis? We stopped there on a cruise a few years back, loved it. That bridge connecting the hotels in your 2nd to last pic, there's actually rooms in there, we checked out how much it would cost to stay and if I remember correctly it was something like $20 grand a night or something like that.

Yes, we stayed at Atlantis. It's beautiful but HUGE. There are 2 or 3 more buildings there now than when we were in the bahamas 4 years ago.

The bridge room is $30k a night.

Nice pics, Brian! The place really looks beautiful. Is that the place that has that cool water silde that goes under the shark tank?

We're you able to get any dive pics?

I like the sign, that's pretty funny.

There are waterslides that go through the shark tank. We watched them from the outside, you go really slow through there! It looked awesome. There's also other waterslides that you sit in your tube and get carried up a conveyer so you never have to get out of the water or walk up stairs!

I'm going to drop of the film from his dives today. He got a DVD too which I haven't seen yet

i went there last year we stayed in the royal towers, ont he ocean side, it was amazing, the exhibits were huge and building was as well. I really just loved walking around seeing everything.

thanks for sharing! I personally like that big ole' grouper staring at ya. With the clown pics I was thinking how it'd have been awesome if they just kept one species instead of mixing the two -still an impressive display.

and yeah that last pic is hilarous.

I know this isn't a competition for funny signs - but I took this when I was in Chicago in July...I laughed at the first sentence...but your sign is funnier!

That's a funny sign, I wish they would publish what new methods they have for removing algae! I could use it!

Atlantis was beautiful, it's definitely somewhere to check out at least once. I'm not sure I would go back anytime soon...it's really expensive, especially the food....which wasn't the greatest. The aquarium exhibit is top notch, so that makes it worth it!

and I never did figure out what happened to the dive pics!

I've located the dive camera. As soon as I get off the couch I'll drop it off at 1 hour. Sorry, I totally forgot about it (maybe it was because I didn't get to dive :'( )

Oh my goodness those are some great shots, Brian. I am SO jealous. Thanks so much for sharing those. Pictures #3, 4 and 5 take my breath away.

Looks like Atlantis. The girlfriend took me last January. Amazing place. I didn't want to go back home. When I win the lottery I'm going to make my house look like that.
