Play Sand

I am planning on starting up a tank and was looking for some aquarium friendly play sand at HD. What I found was Bonsal "Premium Grade" Natural Sand (it said Bonsal an Old Castlle Co. written on it). Also, I put some vinegar on it and there was no reaction then dropped some sand in the vinegar without any reaction either.

Does anyone have any info on this stuff??
I'm starting to think this whole play sand thing is a myth.........

unfortunately everyone of the club memebers has probably bough it all... check some home depots
