Purple Zoo colony w/green hair algae

Ok so I did a FW dip and pulled some of the green hair algae off by hand. Do you guys recommend anything else? Here are two pics to assist if needed... Right now the "frag" is sitting in a container with tank SW

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

No don't assume that. I believe mnat has done some work with hydrogen peroxide to kill it before putting it in. You can google it just FYI.

No insult, DO NOT use peroxide, worst than the problem!
Move it into a shaded area
Up your mag to 1600 ppm+
Too late to give details tonight, you are welcome to pm me for links about treatment.
This seems to be a Bain of zoo frags this year.

Right first name, different person. It was Mbodell that was using the hydrogen peroxide. When I had hair algae I would just scrub it off, but if you can't I would go with Whitebirds advice.

Thats Funny.
I tried HP treatments and it did kill the bad stuff, and 50-90% of the zoos.
The fresh Water dip is a treatment for parasites and I do not recommend that. Use Flatworm Exit at 4-8 times the recommended dose or ReVive as a dip. None of the above will work for Hair or Brimosis. Kent Marine Mag-X is recommended. Your Mag is probably at 800ppm-1100ppm, to raise to 1600ppm, large amounts are needed=$$$. I have the same results with Epsom Salts.
