question about adding a sump/fuge.

I have a custom built fuge/sump that i still have to plumb up... I'm just lazy and kinda nervous of a flood. But anyway, when i set up the fuge and fill it with salt water, sand an rock do i have to let it cycle again?? If so how would i go about that?? add power head or two and a heater?? or can i just start the siphon and let'er rip once it is filled?

if the display tank is larger than the fug (which for most of us is true) - it's unlikely the tank will "cycle" again. Then again - with smaller tanks - the margin of error becomes trickier. How big is the display again and how much LR and what other (if any) kind of filtration do you have?
