R/O Filter Cartridge Replacement

I have the R/O Buddy and a spring fed well. When looking at the instructions, it should make 500g before replacement/ 2500g of waste- mine lasted 8 months- just checked today and it's TDS are over 35- my well water is under 150- sometimes I wonder if it's worth using it

I did the math and it's true or better- 10g of waste to make 2g of R/O per day- so my cartridges should only last about 8 months. So I'm back at my original question- and most can't answer it. I have a spring fed well with about 150TDS, with no chemicals, do I need to run it through a R/O or could I just use it as is

Will have to check that out
Or at least change them out more often. There a proper maintenance schedule to these things that I don't follow. Sediment and carbon should be replaced most often, followed by resin third, and membrane least often.

No one can answer that. You'd have to ICP the well water. Then you'd have to trust ICP. IF you're interested in that id have to look it up and find it again but there's a guy in Florida light years ahead of any other ICP facility .

Jake adams lives in Colorado and runs carbon only. Like 5 of them. There's a few ways to do this.

Got my replacement cartridges for my Buddy, so I'll be making water for a while still, but there was no flow at first, and then very slow- it was quick before, so I checked into replacing the membrane- never thought about that- 12-24 months or when the flow filtered / waste is slow- so now I wait another couple of days for a water change- still makes enough to top off
