Since I setup the Red Sea tank it made some gurgling but not loud. The other day I noticed my return pump stopped working. I had to pull the whole thing from bottom of tank because I could not get the bottom part above pump to turn no matter how hard I tried. Anyway I cleaned the pump as it was filthy and much better flow now through the return. However, now the gurgling is worse than ever. I tried adjusting both valves with very little progress. Searching seems this is very common with these tanks and the solution is to pull drain spout and replace pressure valve with a gate valve. Between this and seam failures I understand why people don't like these tanks and will be the only Red Sea I ever own. Now another unexpected project I am not looking forward to.
