reef fish suggestions

ok, so im becoming a posting maniac..lol..sorry..i want to add some new fish to my 180 gallon tank..I have seen some members tank pictures with some really nice angel fish, but i thought i couldnlt add them because they weren't reef safe? i need to do some homework and not just take the lfs guys word for it. here is my fish list

2 pec. clown fish
1 blue hippo tang
1 yellow tang
1 powder blue tang
7 blue damsels (i know big mistake)
1 domino damsel ( he is a problem hes about 4 inches and beats up new fish)
1 three stripe damsel
i coral beauty
1 green chromis
1 marine beta
1 royal gamma
1 snow flake eel (had him since basically day 1)

If at all possible get rid of the damsels.

As far as angles go, many of the dwarf angles, Centropyge species, can be reef safe. It's always a bit of a chance you take though. Some are model citizens, others are "rotten to the core", still others start out fine and turn bad later. You never know, even with fish of the same species.

Since they are colorful fish, by all means give it a try, but be prepared to remove it, if it doesn't work out.

Coral Beauty is one of the safest. I would say 95% will give no problems. The other 5% might nip at corals cause they see food on them.

Marine Betta might eat other fish once it gets large (maybe solution to your smaller damsels?). They also might eat some shrimps.

Chromis will be very tough with damsels. They will get their butt handed to them every time. In my tank, they get harassed by even false percs and banggai. Even the percs will have difficulty going in. Maybe you should get a nice size maroon and teach those damsels a lesson (J/K)

i have a coral beauty so does that mean i can't add any more angels? i saw one angel in a members tank pics that was bright blue and yellow...it looked insane..i want one, but if my coral beauty is going to fight and kill him i dont want to risk it.

It is safe to mix one dwarf angel with one true angel. It is possible to house multiple dwarves. I was able to do it for awhile in a 90 but I had a lot of live rock. The aggression came out when I had to treat them in a QT and the smaller angel had no place to hide. In a 180, 2 dwarf angels is doable, possibly 3. What was this "insane" angel? Most of the nicer ones are true angels. Only problem is true angels are almost all coral eaters.
