Regal Angelfish Feeding Question?

Hey guys, How long do you think does it usually take for the angelfish to start eating normally? Ive been feeding it mysis shrimp and it eats like one or two and then stops eating. It looks at my seaweed and just swims away. It grazes on my rock here and there but not that much. I know the fish is a finnicky eater but should i be concerned? Do you think its just acclimating in the tank? Any tips on trying to get the regal angel fish to eat? If your wondering on the livestock in the tank, I have two picasso clownfish, hippo tang, yellow tang, maldives fairy wrasse and one cleaner shrimp.

My Regal ignored the Mysis as well Angel food preperations and swam by anything else I tried to feed it. Plus the Regal is not as an aggressive feeder as your Tangs. I had the same issue.

The only thing I have been able to get my Regal to eat are fresh clams. I went down to the supermarket and picked up some clams, cleaned them out of the shell and cut them in pieces. My Regal nips at the clams and tears off little pieces and has been living off of that. He also picks at the live rock etc..

Good luck. Definitely need patience with this fish..

It's been a bit since you posted, any luck with the regal?

They are very finicky eaters indeed, did it eat when it was at the LFS? You can try live Blackworms to get him feeding, or if you have access to live brine shrimp, that may start him too. Nothing like a "livey" to get them started, do you know where the regal's from? The Redsea ones are less susceptible to finicky-ness from what I've read.
