ric's came off the rock

I had one of my ricordeas come loose from the rock it was on. When this happened before with a mushroom I was told to put them back on with a loose rubber band is this the correct thing to do?

You can also try a piece of lace (tulle). I've never really had any luck using rubber bands.

When I bought my ric it had a tiny bit of rubble but my urchin managed to dislodge him. He curled up and the super glue idea wouldn't work. Do you think putting it in a shot glass on top of a shell will get him to attatch?

Shotglass/shell might work....I personally have had little luck with trying to let rics or 'shrooms attach to things by themselves, at least in any reasonable timeframe. After several attempts, I finally was able to glue some rics to pieces of rubble/shell. I put a spot of glue on the rock, waited about 10-15 seconds, then took the ric out of the water, dabbed the base and held it to glued rock for awhile before putting back into water.

Good Luck,
Dom

I just don't have the guys to cut up a 30 dollar ric :'(. But I guess the concept will work pretty much the way I have it now.
