Rinsing your frozen food..............

I always thaw and rinse my frozen food with ro water, but doing it everytime I feed is a pita! I thought i seen on one of the foods to only thaw as much as you can use in one day? I guess you shouldn't let it thaw then refreeze, but I'm not sure. I'd like to thaw all my food, rinse it good, mix it up, then put in a icecube tray and refreeze it. Can you do this or once you thaw it you can't refreeze it?

I grab a glass full of tank water and place the frozen food in the glass. I then pour the thawed food through a small net.

No you shouldn't thaw and refreeze frozen foods. It causes them to break down rapidly and increases bacterial growth in the foods. Once thawed you need to either feed it out or throw it away.
