RO/DI Reading

in June/July i replaced my ro membrane and all prefilters, including di resin.

I replaced my inline tds meter battery and calibrated it with the correct solution about 2 months ago. My in reading is post membrane, pre di filter, my out is post di. My in reading is 4ppm, my out reading post di is 7ppm.

Anyone every have this happen?

I've already ordered a new pre-filter set including di resin from brs.

Something is not right. What is your water source....city water or well?

The only thing I could think of is either an acidic or basic water is stripping the DI resin. That shouldn't be happening with city water.

problem solved!!

i was staring at my ro and something didnt look right...the meters were turned upside down, i spun them right side up and am instantly getting 1ppm in and 0ppm out.

I was going to say... if you had a higher TDS after the DI than what it was going in, then something is definitely not right. It would seem impossible for a DI resin to add TDS. Glad you figured it out!
