RO DI unit setup question

I just set up a H2O sceince rodi unit with 3 chambers. Is there any way the waste water can be spliced back into the unit to keep going around in the loop? Will this clog the filters worse is that the only down side. It seems crazy that there is so much waste. Any suggestions about splicing it inline would be appreciated

I will be using to sprinkle my lawn and flowers. you save some $$$ during the summer time ;)

If you have 65 or more psi you can have the waste go through a second membrane...and increase your output and lessen the waste.

I've often wondered the same, and while it is possible, it doesn't really seem efficient. The way I'd thought of doing it was by putting a booster pump to push the pressure back up, T'ing off one of the hoses and adding a check valve so that the water couldn't backwash the system.

The problem with this is that you're getting very little in the way of return, and using electricity to do it.

As was mentioned earlier... water the plants with it, it's the best way to use the wastewater.
