Safe Magnets

I have a coral that was attached by magnet on my old tank. The new tank is 12mm thick glass and now magnet won't hold. What magnet is reef safe to replace or add so it stays up? Its resting in a primo spot I want to free up.

Thanks for looking.

Any magnet that's fully sealed should do the trick. Important part is that it's sealed well, and no metal is ever exposed to SW which would cause rust.

The problem with good sealed magnets is that they tend to be heavy. And, given that weight people tend to drop them. When they're dropped, the enclosure cracks. But the crack is never noticed right away. The magnet is then put in the tank, and it eventually bursts from the expanding rusting magnet, or it just leaches metals into the tank water. When a problem is finally noticed by the hobbyist, they just claim that the magnet was obviously poorly made, not recognizing themselves at the cause.

I have a collection of rusty magnets and impellers clinging to a steel construction post in my basement.

I actually like these newer magnets:

because they developed a way to let you know there is a leakage problem with the magnet.

Saw those Bob but to bulky. Looking for thin ones as the coral bends like a bench. I'll try to get a Pic up.

This is the coral; it keeps falling over. If I can get few more similar magnets may stay up.
