I can tell you that there is no answer. Do a search for salt on here and you'll get a plethora of "This is the best salt" followed by "I hated it for X, Y and Z reasons". What you'll find is that different salts work for different people and if you're content with the salt you're using now then there's no need to switch. I've switched salts too many times to be proud of over the last year and in retrospect could have just stayed with the original for all it has proven!

just please don't use table salt. ;)

also - this is probably obvious but when water evaporates from the tank - do not top off with salt water.

Oh yeah but it takes too long to grind the amount I need.

Sorry Chuck for hijacking this thread with a bit of levity. I think Phyl gave all the advice you really needed already.
