Can anyone tell me where to get Southdown or Yardright sand in Southern NJ? I am helping a freind set up a tank, and will be coming down in September to put it together with him.

Yeah I agree with Ghost. They sell it as play sand.
According to Dr. Ron that is the same sand used for the aquarium.
Just labeled differently and sold cheaper.

Owen, Home Depot in Bricktown has it, it's marketed as playsand for $4.99/bag. It's a clear bag with a blue and red cartoon picture of a boy in the front. I had to look for it myself, the people in there have no clue what I was talking about.

Home Depot in Egg Harbor twp has it as well, how far South did you want? :)

if you cant find the sand, let me know, i have 2 or 3 bags left over from when i needed it (i think they are 40 pounds each), you can have them.
