Scroll coral

Been doing some on-line research on my yellow scroll coral. What I can't figure out is this an SPS or LPS?
The articles I read don't make this very clear. I just want to figure out position, lihghting and if I am missing any supplements.

From what I understoof when I read up on them they are SPS. Its actually a Turbinaria species. They typically like Moderate to High Lighting and a Moderate flow. I would say middle of the tank with some flow.

I was actually going to pick that one up but didn't know enough about them at the time so I passed. Good luck with it!

Had 1 a while ago. It was in med light med flow. Did the same under 400 mh and led. It was about 20" away from lights and partially shadowed getting indirect light. Fast grower for sure.

I m running T5. It was on the top left and was ok for awhile and moved it to the bottom.
Today I made room on top in center. So will see.

Would a dip in Revive help or should I wait?

what is the general condition of it? What doesnt look good on it? Is it bleaching, polyps not opening?

Rembering back I remeber you posting your paramenters and the nitrates were very high. Have you corrected this problem yet? With that flow, lighting, and dips wont work because you will still be putting the coral back into an environment in which is not healthy for it.

Nitrates dropped down to 10ppm.

*rubs crystal ball*....Code blue the patients are fading fast....IMO scrolls are a hit or miss I always found.But that brain coral is slowly fading/receding..high nitrates for a long period could of done it.Keep me posted

Hopefully, you can get the Scroll and Brain back to normal or better.
