Seachem reefcomplete and reef calcium

I was looking for a shotgun water supplement (for ease of maintenance schedulin) and came across this posthttp://www.3reef.com/forums/product-review-archives/seachem-reef-complete-31925.html.

The guy seems to be a SeaChem evangelist. Did anyone ever try the combination ? The other similar product I cam across was by Brightwell Aquatics called Elemental.

Any experience sharing on either would be greatly appreciated.

Well I went back to sea chem and am happy with the products and results.

4 Teaspoon Reef Plus twice a week

Seems like excessive alkalinity and calcium supplements for me. My tank has nothing but rock, a HOB CPR fuge with cheato and an Octopus BH 1000 with 1 bag each of Carbon and PURA Phos-Lock. I am getting some green chromis tomm. and a cleaning crew this weekend, after which I will start a Reef Plus routine. After adding some corals and looking at Ca/Alk levels, I would start a Reef Complete routine. I might consider Reef Calcium (if Reef Complete can not keep up with Ca depletion/consumption) once I start keeping LPS.
