Setting a Schuran Calcium Reactor.........

Does anyone have a Schuran Calcium Reactor? I'm running into problems getting it dialed in right. I have the "Soda Bottle effect" where the reactor has hundreds of CO2 bubbles in it. My drip rate is about a drop a second and I've dialed down the CO2 rate to 1 bubble every 5 seconds and still run into the problem.

I don't have a Schuran, but I have a similar reactor that recirculates the co2 from the lid. I'm assuming this is a new setup. What you need to do is turn of the co2 and run the reactor wide open to get rid of any co2 collected inside. Shake it alittle to loosen any co2 stuck in the media. Once all the bubbles inside are gone, reset your bubble rate and then use your valve to reset your drip rate. Hope this helps.
