I always feel like I am doing something wrong when I feed my shrimp mysis shrimp but they really do like it. I don't think lettuce would do anything for them, mine like to pull out the "chunks" in the Rods food.

You need a special breeding tank to raise shrimp, ours have been pregnant constantly for like 9 months and they just release the eggs (which the fish love).

Mine eat everything I feed the tank. They eat anything. They love all meaty things.

Meaty things? Can you give a few examples? Are we talking about a small piece of raw fish?

That brings me to my next question...... what does everyone feed their fish. I have a few clowns and a few damsels. I do add food for my leather and my piece of soft coral. What is something really heathly I can give to the fish? The fish store seems to brew up a meal the fish love! What do you think it is, and how do I make it!

imo- i wouldnt worry about feeding soft corals. any kind of frozen food works good for fish though. defrost it in a cup and rinse it in clean water in a fine mesh net to remove the nasty water its packed in. as far as a pellet i found my fish, hermit, crabs and snails allll like supersoft spirulina pellets

Soft corals need nutrients too! ;D

If you skim like crazy, rinse all your food and have a low fish load, you will need to feed the softies.
