Skimmer smell & ways to get rid of it?

Man, last week I thought I had hidden dog poo in my basement. I then realized it was coming from my skimmer. I have an AIO so the skimmer is out in the open & its hooked up to an O2 scrubber.
I currently have a small bag of carbon on top of it & it might be working, but i only cleaned the skimmer out on Sunday.
Ideas?

I was going to say carbon bag on top. There is a product called stinksink; basically another container on top of skimmer cup you put carbon in.

@kevin I have the stink sink. I worked with the creator of it to make one for the red sea rsk900. It works great. It seals in the smell and pushes it to the carbon, due to the foam inserts and custom cut shape. I can take pics later if you want more info.
