Skimming question!!!

I tore my hose for my return pulling my return pump when I went to set it in the new one I can get away from skimming for about 48 hours without doing a water change right? I already moved my heater to the main display, and when moving everything into the new tank I'll be making fresh water anyways.

Might want to add an air stone to compensate for air injection the skimmer provides, but you should be ok without water changes for 48 hours.

You should be fine. My skimmer pump died and off-line for 3 days before receiving a new pump.

Your tank will be fine. One doesn't need to run a skimmer.

Wait...is your return pump working? If so, thats fine. Sometimes I turn my skimmer off for like a week and forget. As long as your return pump is working you are fine.
