SPS spacing

When I originally placed these two corals, a orange cap and what I belive to be montipora spongodes. I had no idea they would end up doing this well. Now they are getting pretty close to each other. There is actually only about 1/4" between them, and they are growing fast. Will they just naturally avoid each other or should I cut off pieces. Both are very well encrusted to the rock.
Thanks in advance
John

Many roads u can take with this.some sps in my tank will actually grow right against each other with no problem at all. sometimes just the touching edge of one will die. Sometimes a lot of one will die off. Id let nature take its course. If one starts to die then break off as much as u can of it and relocate it. Ive had many different colors of monties that grew together and intertwined, but they were always the same type, like a orange and purple plate
