Strange Xenia behavior

I have two Xenia right next to each other.

They split. One for the last couple of days has now shrunk down (typically I see this at night only, but it has been full time for a couple of days)

The other is doing perfectly well.

Any ideas on the cause of this?

And yes that is one of my clowns hosting my Xenia.

they do that.. give it a few days it will be fine. i panicked 1st time mine did it as well

yes they do that as said and sometimes they will detach and find a new spot.

Give them couple days, usually alkalinity affecting xenia.

They do that but check to see if it moved near something that may sting them.
