aright i just bought a used CPR 100 overflow with the airlift. i made a sump out of a 10g no baffles or anything just to see if and how it would work, this is my first time ever using a sump or overflow or anything like that. seems to work well at first, so i tried turning of the power to simulate a power outage and when i did that the flow comming from my return pump stoped and crated a siphon backwards back into the sump if that makes any sense, i was lucky to catch it at the last minute. how do i prevent this from happening aside from keeping the exaust out of the water?
also i noticed that it takes the CPR a long time to restart the siphon after i turn the power back on and alot of water goes into the main tank, i have a 200 GHP powerhead as a return now if i upgrade to a bigger one will the main tank overflow waiting for the siphon to start on the CPR. i belive it is a SPR 100 rated at 800GPH it has a 1" bulkhead
and one more sorry, how do i go about plumming this thing, i went to home depot and couldnt find any pvc tubing that would connect to my 1" bulkhead....if thats even what i have sould i bring my overflow into the store and just ask one of them?
