Sump Size?

Im trying to figure out the right size sump for my new 72ga Bow. I was thinking of going with a 30" L x 12" W x 16" H but was wondering if anyone knew the amount of water this particular sump can hold and if this is enough for the tank?

That size sump will hold 25 gallons if ya fill it to the top. In all fairness I'd say you'll have about 13 or so gallons in there while it is running.

As for the right size sump, go for the largest size you can fit inside the stand. You can never really have too big of a sump.

Thanks everyone. Ricwilli you're right about that because of the taper on the ends, it limits the size of sump you can fit.
