I started using reef nutritions “Oyster Feast” and man the polyp extension on some of the SPS corals have been crazy! Not so much on the milli..
sps have just brought a whole new enjoyment to reefing for me.
I turn my return pump off and leave the flow pumps on. I add just a little bit to get a feeding response. After maybe 10-15 minutes I’ll add 1/2 teaspoon to some water and then add the rest to the tank. I’ll do a quick spot feed but I let the rest of it circulate.
After a week of use I have not seen a spike in NO3 or PO4
