I receievd the dual knock-off Koralia powerheads for Christmas.
Below are the specs and my review of the item. There were two pumps
for $51 including tax and shipping. The pumps are made in China.
SunSun Vibrating pump
Model - JVP-201
Voltage - 110V, 60Hz
Power - 12w
Output - 6000L/h, 1600gph
Weight - 0.5 kg
4.5 foot cord
Magnetic hold
Pros:
Quiet running
Powerful magnet
Metal shaft
360 degree rotation with adapter, included
Powerful output, IMO
Small exposure of shaft, so assume less kick back then the Koralia.
Cons:
The only problem I have is the magnet. Cheaply made IMO.
It has three parts, the plastic holder for the magnet, the magnet,
and a plastic cap that snaps in. This for both pieces;
on the pump and outside glass.
The magnet when assembled goes on the pump end; you twist to lock it in place.
No rubber casing arund either magnet.
I will try and get a few pics of it and post. Overall I am impressed with its performance these few days.
Edit: Some pics of the box and one in the tank.
