T5 Bulb Arrangement

I knew there are a few threads on this but didn't want to hi-jack someones thread. My fixture has built in controllers 1st controller is for bulbs 1 and 3, 2nd is 2 and 4. I placed the blue plus at positions 1 and 4, 14k at 2nd and purple plus at 3rd. The tank really pops like this. But I wanted that blue/actinic look when 2 bulbs are on so I rearranged. I put the blue plus at positions 2 and 4, 14k at 1, and purple plus at 3. Overall same affect and the blue plus look great just by themselves. However, I don't like that pink look when only the 14k and purple are on. Any suggestions here?

Thanks,
Mark

Lights are mostly a preferance in what you like.

How about you set it up so both blue plus's come on first and run for an hour or two. Then the 14k and pink come on in the middle of there run time.
Turn off the 14k and pink before bedtime and let the blue plus run for another hour or so after.

Doing it this way, you will never see just the pink and 14k on.

Hope it helps

Doh! Good point AJ.

I was doing all this manually just to see what everything looked like.

Very much better. Love the look of the blue plus.
My family likes that light blue tint to the water. They tell me it looks more like the blue ocean water you see on TV...LOL
