I need to change mine. They put it behind the glove box and you need to remove the glove box cover to access a screw to remove filter cover and replace filter. I never bothered to do this but what genius came up with this!

I agree, stupid place to put it. If they wanted to put it there, they should have a door inside the glove box that you could open to access it.

It only took about ten minutes but I could have used that time to trim my toenails or feed my fish.

Not really. You can see it on YouTube but you will need "Torx" screwdrivers which many people who are not handy would not have. But you can get one for less than 5 bucks and the job is only a few minutes

There are so many reasons I am proud I didn't go to college. This is just one of them. These are college students.

On My morning walk, I walked farther on the beach than I have ever gone. I discovered strange new words and bravely went where no Man has gone before. Oh Wait....That was from Star Trek. Shatner, don't sue me.

As I walked, I came across something that will vastly change history. After I wrirte this, I will call National Geographic so they can change history.

I discovered The Lost Continent of Atlantis. Complete with pyramids.

Feast your eyes on this.

Yesterday was a horrible day. I had to rush my wife (again) to a pain mgt Dr. for that pain she gets in her face (trigeminal neuralgia)

The Doc gave her a couple of shots in her check, into the bone and we have to go for an MRI.

I hope those shots numb it at least for a few days until the next step, whatever that is.

Early this morning, I took my beach walk. I brought along a plastic bag because I knew it was low tide and I wanted to collect some more seaweeds for my tank. They won't last long but are really nice while they last.

I also get the advantage of adding the bacteria and possibly microorganisms they house.

I collected most of it near this "Alien Artifact"

I'm thinking the red seaweed needs a bluer spectrum, colder water and proably a trace element we couldn't even fathom
The water here is very dark and murky from all the suspended organic matter and mud in it. It is also cold so this stuff doesn't last long in a clean, warm well lit tropical tank.

Yesterday I went fishing on a party boat. My closest friend wanted to take his Grand Son Jackson and another friend also came. There was only 8 people on the boat which can hold 50 . It was a great day and between the 4 of us we caught almost 50 porgies which I will cook tonight for us.

We also caught a few sharks a blowfish and a weakfish but we threw all those back.

Of course I had someone check on my wife all day.

We can't eat them all so I will freeze 30 of them.

This is the Mate, Melinda cleaning our fish. My friend also won the pot for the largest porgy which was about 15"

After I got back from fishing I had to take my wife for an MRI of her face. Last night she was in terrible pain so I didn't go walking this morning.

There is nothing they can do for her so of course I couldn't sleep. She is still sleeping and I am afraid what today will bring. Depending of the results of the MRI we will see if she should go for a Gamma Knife treatment.

She had that years ago but even if it works, it takes a month or 6 weeks before it takes effect.
This is called the "Suicide" pain for a reason.

We went for a physical a couple of days ago and I am seemingly in perfect shape. I have been getting chest pains but it has nothing to do with my heart. Well, not physically anyway. It's a Hyania Hernia caused by stress. It won't kill me and is not dangerous. For me, it is caused by worry about my wife. It causes my stomach and intestines to cramp up pushing my stomach up. I am prone to that for some reason and was hospitalized a couple of times because they thought it was a heart attack, but I knew better.

My internist a few years ago told me it comes from love and seeing a loved one in such pain can cause it.
I'm not very happy today.

She is much better this morning and only gets the severe pain if she talks, eats or drinks so most of the time, she is relatively pain free. Except of course for all the problems MS brings including not being able to walk or do almost anything.

This morning as we were talking, she mentioned that our neighbor is severely sick and dying from brain cancer.

Even though my wife doesn't feel well she wanted to do something for his wife who is distraught and can't get out as he needs constant care in their home. My wife ordered them two meals from an Italian restaurant here.

She has been going through this for over a year and it is taking a horrible toll on her. They are very nice people and also our friends.

My wife is a very caring person and always thinks of others which is one reason I married her almost 51 years ago.

Tonight I will be cooking some of this fish. One of our friends and neighbors here just lost her husband a couple of months ago so we invited her over for the fish dinner, so I better make it good because she is a very good cook.
