Tank birthday and I'm a Geezer

My wife, Dale, is unfortunately no better today, and besides the facial pain, her back is out, so she is also in pain for that. Some years ago, she had a spine cyst and has 2 rods in her back. I hope that isn't the problem because that's where the pain is.

We are going pretty far today so I really pray this doesn't blow up. Her cousin usually makes about 23 different types of seafood this afternoon, and we are bringing some of the appetizers. Along with this shrimp cocktail platter, we have a larger tray of mussels marinara.

She looks forward to this all year, as 30 of her relatives, including our kids and grandchildren, will be there, so she doesn't want to cancel, even though she can't eat.

This was a couple of years ago.

Merry Christmas

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. We did, except my wife wasn't great but good enough so she could eat, kind of.

We have been going to her cousins for many years, and he went to Italy to take cooking classes, so we go there every Christmas Eve. We are Italian so the tradition is to have 7 different fishes on that day. He normally makes about 23 different seafoods. I don't think we had that many this year as he is a year older than I am and I was here when we invented dirt, but I guess he made about 15.

As usual, the food looks awesome!.

I hope she is doing better today. My prayers to her and you. How is your shoulder?

It is so icy here. It started hailing yesterday at 6 PM and when I went to bed at 1:30 AM it hadn't stopped. We have snow flurries since I woke up today.

Diana, where are you? It isn't to cold here now. 29 degrees. My walk was nice before they plowed.
My shoulder is better but not 100%. It doesn't really hurt but not much range of motion.

Very icy here now

I love Baccala and grew up on it. It used to be standing up like wood at the entrance of my Dads sea food market. I probably thought it was wood.
We go to a restaurant here named "Uncle Baccala" and that was their specialty. :p

Diana, what state are you in? :whistling:

Unfortunately, my wife is still in pain. It isn't any better as the shots don't seem to work any more so we are waiting for an appointment with the Gamma Knife neurologist. But before that, she has to go through some tests like MRI and all that.
