well, my upgrade from my 20 to my 46 is complete.  Within a few minutes though, web like stuff started to appear from a little cave, i think at least thats where its coming from.. any ideas what this is??

I hope its nothing to serious.. hopefully this move goes smoothly.. we'll see.

It's a worm thing.....aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh I can't remember the name, I used to have it, the web annoyed me so much, I got rid of it. It's how they catch food....

Hey Bill,
Looking good, Just one suggestion, try to angle the one maxi-jet or add a additional one, aim it at the water surface to agitate it, this will help with any build up on the surface and you will get better oxygen exchange. Once some of my stuff starts to grow I'll give you some frags to get you going.

as long as the webs are safe, i'm not too worried. If it gets bad, I'll see if I can catch him, but I'll save that for another time.

That ph is just there for now, I have another ph that i'm going to add and I'll adjust all of them. The ph from that skimmer is still blowing bubbles into the tank, that gets to me a bit. I may upgrade skimmers, I have to research into hot skimmers that I can use and won't make me go bankrupt ;-)

I just googled vermetid snails and based on the mucus i saw, it looks like whatI had last night. i came home today and there is nothing visible, so depending on how things go, im not too concerned about it. The corals are all opened up now.. so I'm working on getting another pic. ill keep ya posted

I haven't forgotten about your barrels either. I may be able to get them to you this week one night after work.

thanks, Matt! yea, the kenya seems to be doing great, thanks :) if you have any other frags your willing to sell off let me know ill get them along with the barrels. And if you want, I can get my dads truck or something and I can pick them up. Unless you wanted to check out my tank. But let me know.

And once I catch up with some bills, now that the tank is transferred, I'll start working on the seahorse tank. I dont want to rush into it and screw anything up.. but thats my next project :)
