As a side gig I design, build and install themed custom saltwater setups. It isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it lets me get creative in a hobby I love. It also serves as an outlet from my normal 9-5 as a mid level manager at a Fortune 50 and will be what keeps me busy when I eventually decide to retire. For now I am a very small volume custom builder so my business presence is all online and I build the setups out of my home based shop, hiring part time help as needed for some of the larger builds. I'm really only looking to interact with this group as a hobbiest as most of my clientele are new to the hobby and looking for their first system. That said I'm more than happy to lend a hand with any member's build. My day job pays the bills, the Kraken is just an outlet for me so not looking for any compensation. I'd certainly build a system for a member at a discount as well, but that is not my primary reason for joining this group. What I like about this hobby is you can constantly learn new things and being around experienced hobbiest allows me to continue to do that. It also allows me to share my own knowledge where I can.
