It's the second race of the triple crown.

Belmont Stakes.
The preakness is a little different from the other two because they open the infield and people party like woodstock in the middle of the track. It has a really long history going back to the actual "seabiscut race". Long story short ... everyone wanted to see Seabiscut race but they had a sold out stadium and the seats were too expensive for the poorer people and they opened infield just so more people can see the horse race.
