There's a creature in my sump

It looks like roots for a tree- no light in this part of the sump- should I get rid of it

I got clove polyps in the DT- this is in the sump- roots to nothing, and a lot of spirorbid worms, and some pineapple sponges

Yea I think its a sponge. Theres one growing within my rock work. Its getting pretty big
