This one is for Bax

;D

That's what I've been saying about my CB all along!

I do love my CB! Tried to pair it but the new fish withered soon after introduction, I will try again!

What size tank did you end up with?

I'm finally settled on a 150 with a 4x2 footprint.

And, to stay "on topic" ....

I now have my original CB introduced to my 26 g bowfront in 2005. He's currently in my 100 g DT. I also have an adopted flame in my 75 frag going on six months now. Both have been great with corals, clams, zoas, & nems. My CB is an algea eating machine! These will both move to the 150 once its ready.

I ended up with a 45 gallon cube to hold me over until I get the big one. I'm thinking of a deep dimensions 300 sonce they're only 6' long. But I hate the corner overflows, the short stand and the bracing on top.

What are you feeding your angels and how often?

I'm a gorgoniain and zoanthid nut and unfortunately the angels I've had loved them too. :)

What fun is that Bax? We can just change the thread name like you usually do!

But pretending that I am interested in the topic:

How do CB's do with big fleshy LPS? My zoas are all but gone. I think my CBB does it when I'm between blackworm deliveries. ::)

I would love to add one if I could.

I wish I could fit a DD 300, great choice! Are you keeping the corner overflows? If not, what are you doing instead of corner overflows. The Deep Blue 150 has a left corner overflow or none and I do a custom. Still on the fence.

I feed a mix of flake & pellets in the AM. That's a very light AM feeding. I then feed two cubes of frozen in the evening. That could be Hakari or PE Mysids, squid, ON marine mix (it's a four variety pack), occasionally I add cyclops. If I am concerned about any health issues, I use Brightwells Omega vitamins. I often skip a day on the weekend if I can't get by the office.

There are no means to tell when you've got a good angel, but I think ample feeding helps. They pick at the rock constantly. They will inspect corals too, I believe they eat what they find on the corals, pods, pests, or food. Neither of mine eat the coral, including my neon trumpets Bill, and they are juicy looking! I plan to add anthias to the 150 so I'll will add at least one light feeding a day by an auto feeder of some kind.
