Timer ?

never used it but it looks good and i don't see any problem using it.. in fact i think i might have to go get one.

how many things do you have that you want to put on timers. they seem pretty expensive for two timed outlets. if you plan on buying a bunch of these i would suggest saving your money and buying a neptune controller like the aqua controller. you can pick one up for cheaper in the for sale section. someone is always selling one. they give you much more flexibility and are a life saver.

my friend uses it for their UV on his outdoor pond.

If you're only plugging in one thing, the manual timer at HD works just as well, but it will not give you multiple set points per day. I use 2 for my setup, one for my T5's (4X54), the other for my halides (2 icecap 250's and a 12V adapter for my fans). Hooked up to the timers are shortie-power strips

I like it, looks good. I think I will replace my Coralife power strip for one of these since I read they can cause a fire. lol...

coralife has that cheap one for like 25 bucks . Thats what i use , only porb is you can only have certain outlets on during the day and night. The plus is its digital so you can choose diff hours for diff days .

isn't that the same one stickied as a fire hazzard?

I use the intermatic ones, there are 2 different ones and I got one of each ot try them out. One is black as you pictures and the other is an army green color. Both work well and havent failed yet
