Twin Tank Crash "Update"

:)Update for you reefers.
Saved a few things, toadstool, mushrooms, few zoo polyps by moving them to my 29 fish/rock tank.
Decided to start over, I bought a box of the Fuji ultra L/R, Walt Smiths, and all new Salifert test Kits from Bernie at sea trade Marine, recommend him highly.
Also installed a current fission nano skimmer in each.
The tanks are all reset up and according to the tests the cycles are well under way/ NH4 amm=0
NO3 Nitrates=high. Did a partial water change and will test again soon.
One reason that I believe that the cycles are so fast is the rock was prime, no smell and the bio rock and seachem bags in the compartments were well established.
I will keep updating, Thanks for the support.

how long ago did you get your rock from bernie? I got some ws from him last sunday and mines still got awhile ago I think. I put some rock in from my current tank to hopefully help speed things along.

I've read and heard much about Bio-spira.. but I'm skeptical.. I think I'd rather just wait it out.

Got mine last Sunday too, I was there 1-3pm. The rock I chose for that tank seemed to be the cleanest and was cycled in a cooler for the first 5 days then transferred to the running tank. Some of the other rock had more stuff on it, sponges, seaweed ect, that's in other tanks and will take much longer to cycle. I did originally use the Bio-Spira and at this point I am sure that it gave me a good Bio Base, but I would not use it again, threw all tests off, just my opinion. I am still going to wait awhile before restocking starts. Have some coralline A. starting to grow, good sign!
