Just out of curiosity how many other UFC fans are out there? UFC 100 is Saturday night and it has a good line up. Talked the wife into letting me have people over for the first late night party since having our 2 month old. Having like 12 people, food, beer, etc, going to be a long Sunday I think takign care of hte little one. Anyone else excited about it?

I don't believe Mir has a chance. Lesnar is just to big & strong for him and I'm sure he's been training submission defence constantly.
Cool on your partner fighting, my friend does alot of crossfit workout in south jersey and one of the guys he trains with does MMA as well, fought 2 months ago up in NY I believe. Would of gone to see him but my wife was due on the day of the fight & that seemed like a bad idea.

Too bad you guys weren't at Atlanta's MACNA last year. There was a big fight and all the big names were staying in the same hotel we were. I actually had a private 10 - 15 minute conversation with Randy Couture about one of his appearances on Bubba the Love Sponge. We were yucking it up. Then, I almost got run over by Liddel in the hall. He was being chased by a bunch of fans and he and I met at a corner and had to basically hug each other to keep from falling over. I kinda felt sorry for the guy, the fans were relentless and he didn't seem to be enjoying it. I'm not a big big fan but I enjoy watching it once in a while and I certainly knew who those guys were.

as big as Lesnar is and as quick as he is---he's gonna rush Mir and try to take him down and then hammer fist him---
lesnar is a freakin OX---he'll probably win with the ref stoppin the bout---i hope not, but thats my gut feelin

Lesnar was a complete disgrace last night. I'm actually sorry to say that I supported the guy in the beginning. He made a mockery out of MMA.
MMA is all about dedication, sacrifice and respect. It has come a long way to disprove that they are a bunch of thugs. Rivalries are great but at the end of the fight the bad feelings are put aside. For lesner to disrespect Mir, to disrespect the fans, and a major sponser of the UFC is a discrace. Then to say he is going "to climb on top of my wife tonite" is even more bizare. Dana White needs to sit him down and set him straight.
Now about GSP, what an absolute freak!!! No way did I think he would dominate Alves like that!!!
My favorite moment was when Dan Henerson said he usually stops when he thinks an apponant is knocked out but wanted to hit Bisping again to shut his mouth a little longer!! Bisping deserved that knock out!
