Vortech Pump for 4ft 72g bowfront tank?

I am considering ditching all of my other powerheads (4 in total = 4,000gph) and replacing them with a single Vortech pump positioned on one end of the tank. 72g bowfront : 48" x 18"

My questions:

1. Will this be enough random flow for SPS?

2. Will this be too much single direction flow?

3. Is this pump overkill for my tank?

I added 2 tunze 6055 nano's with a multi controller and get a good alternating flow in my tank. before with the vortech I there was ton's of dead spots and the side closest to it was way too strong for the corals. I'm now thinking of adding a 3rd Tunze to the setup, I love the controll you get with the nano's over the vortech.
