would 2 mp10 be enough water movement for a 58gal 38x18 or should I just throw a 40 in there?

I think 2 mp10's would be perfect. I ran two of them on my 55 and loved the flow pattern I was able to get.

I run 2 mp10's in my 57 (same dimensions) and it works well for me. Both are in NTM at 100%. Just check the the thickness of your glass.
